What is Certificate 3 Guarantee (Queensland) funding program?

The Certificate 3 Guarantee is funding provided by the Queensland Government, which provides Queenslanders access to government subsidised training places*, up to and including their first Certificate III level qualification in priority training areas. To help students who may need to develop skills before undertaking a Certificate III course, the Certificate 3 Guarantee will also cover foundation skills including language, literacy and numeracy as well as Certificate I and II qualifications that lead to the Certificate III.

Why get a Certificate III Qualification?

A Certificate III is the first level of post-school qualification shown to have a significant impact on a person's employment and earnings. It is also the level of qualification usually required to get a job in industries like aged care, child care, hospitality and small business.

What if I am not ready to study for a Certificate III yet?

To help students who may need to develop skills before undertaking a certificate III course, the Certificate 3 Guarantee will also cover foundation skills including language, literacy and numeracy as well as certificate I and II qualifications that lead to the Certificate III.
