What is government funding?
The Australian Government (at both state and federal levels) is committed to upskilling the Australian workforce. To encourage Australians and permanent residents to upskill, they have created a wide variety of funding schemes and incentive opportunities that often heavily subsidise qualifications. Upskilled works hard to ensure many of our courses are eligible for these Government incentives.
On these FAQ pages, we outline the various state and federal government funding schemes, and include a list of Upskilled courses that are eligible under each funding type. However participants must also meet elibilty requirements themselves. The best way to see if you may qualify is by completing our online government funding eligibility form.
What government funding options are available in Australia?
Major schemes include:
- Smart and Skilled* (NSW)
- Certificate 3 Guarantee (QLD)
- Higher Level Skills (QLD)
- Skilled Capital (ACT)
- User Choice (ACT)
- Skilling South Australia (SA)
- Future Skills (WA)
- User Choice (NT)
