How do I know what jobs I could get after doing my course?

Committing to a course is a big a decision and you, quite rightly, want to understand which career options you’ll have when you complete. Upskilled has taken the guesswork out of this for you and has developed a range of approaches that will help you understand the link between each course and industry:

Job Role Pages

An incredibly useful page for determining your potential career pathways is our index of popular job roles and the Upskilled qualifications they relate to. These pages offer information on the key skills of the job, the annual salary range, the size of the industry and average hours worked; along with the courses Upskilled offers to successfully pursue this role. 

Listed Career Outcomes

On each course page you’ll find a tab called ‘Career Outcomes’. Under this tab you’ll find information about how this course relates to industry and employment, including a list of job roles for which the course might prepare you. Take a look at our BSB41015 - Certificate IV in Human Resources as an example.

Unit Outlines

Another useful tab on the course page is ‘Unit Outline’. This lists all the units of competency for each qualification. One of the best ways to use this is to compare them against the required skills listed in industry job adverts. We encourage this type of industry research, as the closer the match between your course units and industry requirements, the more likely you are to achieve your career goal when you gain your qualification.
