Please note that work placement opportunities are subject to availability, so Upskilled cannot guarantee you'll be hired as a volunteer worker.

Also, be aware that each organisation is different, so it's important to recognise the type of work settings you'll need to volunteer in to meet the work place requirements of your course.

Foundation 61 provides a live-in community offering hope and direction for people dealing with life-controlling issues.

Weipa Community Care Centre

The Weipa Community Care Centre assists newcomers to Weipa to feel welcome and prove them with local information. They give assistance to community groups and organisations as well as assist groups or individuals to find information and resources. They provide support and referral for people in crisis situations.

Windarring

Windarring has developed and consolidated services for people with disabilities to become an essential community service organisation in Central Victoria and is an essential partner in the lives of local families. Currently they provide services to over 130 individuals and their parents and carers.

They work within the broader community advocating on behalf of people with disability for access to mainstream services and they are affiliated with a number of key peak organisations at all levels of Government to enable input into policy that impact on the life of people they support.

Sunraysia (SCHS)

Sunraysia Community Health Services (SCHS) is a service providing primary and preventive care for our community members who are at risk of poor health outcomes, and experience health disparities. 

Aberstone Community Services 

Aberstone is a family business that provides support services to people aged seven years and over that have an NDIS plan or private funding. Aberstone is an NDIS Registered provider. They accept Certificate III Individual Support (Disability) and Certificate IV Mental Health Students. 

The Ulladulla & Districts Community Resources Centre 

The Ulladulla and Districts Community Resources Centre (CRC) mission is to offer targeted community and early intervention services to all who seek assistance, they aspire to help anyone in need that contacts the Centre. They have been an integral part of the community life in the Shoalhaven since 1982. 

My Way Community Alliance 

My Way Community Alliance is a socially responsible community organisation whose vision and mission is to support meaningful, valuable, and contributing roles and responsibilities in the community.

Hawkesbury Living

Hawkesbury Living believe that aged citizens have the right to live the latter stages of life with dignity & respect in an environment compatible to their physical, social, spiritual & emotional needs. They accept Certificate III Individual Support Ageing, Home and Community Students. 

Noosa Care

NoosaCare is the Sunshine Coast’s leading provider of Boutique Aged Care Accommodation. NoosaCare has been a part of the Noosa Community for over 35 years. They accept Certificate III Individual Support Ageing Home and Community Students.

HCO

HCO is an independent and not-for-profit specialist disability service provider. Their highly skilled team work alongside people living with disability and families, to help them live their best life, the way they want.  

New Direction Care (Bellmere QLD)

New Direction Care at Bellmere is a residential community for the elderly and for those living with younger onset dementia and complex care needs. It is a place where residents can enjoy fulfilling and happy lives beyond diagnosis—socialising, staying active, pursuing hobbies and continuing to play a role in the community.

GenNow (Burleigh Heads QLD)

GenNow empowers youth & young adults to thrive in their communities using our tailored support services and training program.

Uniting (Tasmania)

Uniting Vic.Tas is the community services organisation of the Uniting Church, delivering services and programs across Victoria and Tasmania.

Just Better Care (NSW)

Just Better Care works alongside customers and their families with a full range of support services, tailored to individual requirements and delivered by passionate local teams.

Support services can range from helping around the home, accompanying you to the supermarket, or assisting with personal care. For more complex needs, our nurses can provide treatment in your home.
