Deliver value to your company, satisfy client requirements and drive business growth with a solution-based approach to problem solving. Learn to identify problems that affect your organisation and develop cost effective solutions. In over 6 lessons, you will learn how to measure current performance, identify process issues and build effective solutions to deliver high-quality products and services.

This introductory lesson will provide you with an in-depth overview of Six Sigma and Organisational goals. You will be introduced to the DMAIC model - Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control, an important process methodology in maximising value delivery and solving various business problems.
- Course Introduction

In this lesson, you will be introduced to Six Sigma and organisational goals. The purpose of this lesson is to introduce you to Six Sigma's core concepts and how they can benefit an organisation. By the end of this lesson, you will successfully identify the objectives of Six Sigma and how it relates to organisational goals, communicate key lean principles and be an expert in discussing the purpose of design for Six Sigma methodologies.

- Lesson 1.0 - Introduction to Six Sigma and Organizational Goals
- Lesson 1.1 - Six Sigma and Organizational Goals
- Lesson 1.2 - Lean Principles in the Organization
- Lesson 1.3 - Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Methodologies
- Lesson 1.4 - Summary to Six Sigma and the Organisation

In the define phase, you will learn how to define the initial stage of the project, by describing the goal and mapping out the steps to get there. You will use various tools and techniques to support the project deliverable. By the end of this lesson, not only will you be skilled in defining project goals and using tools to manage projects, but you will also apply teamwork frameworks to synthesis various ideas and calculate business results for projects.

- Lesson 2.0 - Introduction to Define Phase
- Lesson 2.1 - Project Identification
- Lesson 2.2 - Voice of the Customer (VOC)
- Lesson 2.3 - Project Management Basics
- Lesson 2.4 - Management and Planning Tools (Apply)
- Lesson 2.5 - Business Results for Projects
- Lesson 2.6 - Team Dynamics and Performance
- Lesson 2.7 - Summary of Define Phase
- Lesson 2.8 - Project 1

The measure phase of lean Six Sigma implementation involves collecting as much information and data as possible on the current project as much as possible.

The purpose is to understand the impact of the project and see if the project has improved once the process has been implemented. You will work with tools in the measure phase will help validate current performance and analyse basic conditions of the process. This is a hands-on lesson where you will gain experience in performing process analysis, describing statistical distributions, apply data collection and summarisation principles, and calculate process and performance capability.

- Lesson 3.0 - Introduction to Measure Phase
- Lesson 3.1 - Process Analysis and Documentation (Create)
- Lesson 3.2 - Probability and Statistics
- Lesson 3.3 - Collecting and Summarizing Data
- Lesson 3.4 - Statistical Distributions(Understand)
- Lesson 3.5 - Measurement System Analysis(MSA)(Evaluate)
- Lesson 3.6 - Process and Performance Capability
- Lesson 3.7 - Summary of Measure Phase02:25
- Lesson 3.8 - Project 1

The main objective of the analysis phase is to identify any major factors that impact the project process. You will work with tools to help validate current performance and analyse the characteristics of the process. You will perform exploratory data analysis to identify root causes of project or quality issues using regression analysis and use hypothesis testing for normal and non-normal data.

- Lesson 4.0 - Introduction to Analyze Phase
- Lesson 4.1 - Hypothesis Testing
- Lesson 4.2 - Exploratory Data Analysis
- Lesson 4.3 - Summary of Analyze Phase
- Lesson 4.4 - Project 1

In the improvement phase, you will develop solutions linked to critical problems that have been determined in the analyse phase. This stage is about determining where the problems are coming from in order to correct them. Gain practical real-world experience in analysing the design of experiments (DOE), performing root cause analysis, identifying lean techniques, and selecting the most effective solution to improve processes.

- Lesson 5.0 - Introduction to Improve Phase
- Lesson 5.1 - Design of Experiments(DOE)
- Lesson 5.2 - Root Cause Analysis(Analyze)
- Lesson 5.3 - Lean Tools
- Lesson 5.4 - Selecting a Solution
- Lesson 5.5 - Summary Improve Phase
- Lesson 5.6 - Project 1

The final phase is known as the control phase of the DMAIC journey. In this control phase, you will create a control plan to act as a roadmap for the process owner and provide information to ensure improvements your team has made are being sustained. You will ensure improvements are sustained through applying principles such as statistical process control, creating a control plan, and identifying lean tools for process control.

- Lesson 6.0 - Introduction to Control Phase
- Lesson 6.1 - Statistical Process Control(SPC)
- Lesson 6.2 - Control Plan (Apply)
- Lesson 6.3 - Lean Tools for Process Control
- Lesson 6.4 - Summary of Control Phase
- Lesson 6.5 - Project 1

You will have the opportunity to participate in practice projects and apply your project management skills. Projects you will work on include:
