Course Duration

This course is designed to be completed with our Leadership facilitators either as face to face (over a 4day period) or virtually (8x half days run fortnightly).

Upskilled's 4-Day Leadership Program transforms personal and professional development in your organisation. Designed for effective communication, team development, and resilience, participants master personal change and authentic leadership, emerging with heightened confidence for dynamic work environments.

Unlock Whole Brain Thinking with HBDI Profiles:
This program includes a full HBDI® Profile for each participant. The online self-assessment is completed a week or so before the Leadership Program begins. Participants are given access to their results via the HBDI® App and online platform. A group debrief of their HBDI® profile is delivered on the first day of the program and informs the authentic, communicative leader approach. The HBDI® helps people understand themselves and others. The concept of Whole Brain® Thinking encourages participants to stretch their thinking and forms a great framework to clarify approaches to leadership practice.

Modules

Upon commencing this 4-day course, you will complete the following modules.

  • Developing Emotional Intelligence: Outline the key elements of EQ and the importance of it on personal /leadership development.

  • Personal Leadership: Explore effective leadership traits, learn about characteristics, understand Johari's Window, and define your leadership style.

  • Effective Communication using Whole Brain Thinking: Explore HBDI® Profiles*, lead through communication, understand different thinking styles and adapt to others preference through.

  • Uncover Visions and Values: Discover what values are important to you, create a Leadership Vision, bring Values and Vision to life.

  • Navigate Personal Change: Define change, explore challenges and barriers to personal progress, walk through 5-step change model.

  • Boost Resilience: Gauge Wellbeing level, discover resilience factors, explore 4 supporting elements, complete Wellbeing plan.

  • Leadership Action Plan: Boost personal effectiveness, set SMART goal, learn goal breakdown, address emotional barriers.

  • Coaching for Improved Performance: Grasp the value of coaching, navigate stages of coaching, amplify strengths, excel in one-on-one coaching, establish consistent approach for performance enhancement, foster growth mindset.

  • Instilling Coaching Culture: Apply coaching through workplace scenarios.

  • Performance Management: Enabling success, effective Performance Discussion elements, goal and KPI development, addressing poor performance.

  • Navigating Tough Conversations: Understand challenging conversations, their necessity, and barriers, prepare for them, and master effective steps in leading them.

  • Hands-on Tough Conversation Practice: Apply coaching framework to engage in challenging work-based discussions.

  • Leading Through Conflict: Recognise conflict type, cause, and level, cultivate conflict management confidence, enhance assertiveness skills.

  • Creating High-Performance Teams: Identify excellence factors, build Trust and collaboration, understand team dynamics, and design leadership strategies for enhanced performance.

  • Creating Engaged, Motivated Teams: Define engagement and motivation drivers, empower through delegation, strategise individual engagement, and explore celebratory approaches for team success.

  • Managing My Time to Achieve My Goals: Evaluate current time usage, address effectiveness obstacles, explore Time Management matrix, assess personal time allocation, and devise a plan to improve your use of time.

  • Wrap up & Next Steps: Final group sharing session and reflect on key takeaways.
