To apply for CBAP certification, you must firstly acquire IIBA membership. To apply for CBAP certification, individuals must:
- Have completed at least 85% of their CBAP training course or attended one complete batch
- Pass any of the simulation exams with the minimum score required
- Submit a project and have it approved by our Subject Matter Experts
- In case of rejection, consult with our subject matter experts on how to best approach future project approval attempts
If you pass these eligibility requirements, you must then submit your application for certification with the required application fees (non-refundable). You must also pass the initial screening process (conducted by the IIBA) to pursue the CBAP exams.
Once the IIBA has assessed your qualifications for the exam, you can then schedule a date for examination at the official testing agency. You will then receive an e-mail stating whether your reservation has been approved. The BABOK Guide sets the globally-recognised standards for business analysis, and used as a reference among professionals in the field. It segments business analysis and management into six core knowledge areas: Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring, Elicitation and Collaboration; Requirements Life Cycle Management; Strategy Analysis; Requirements Analysis and Design Definition; and Solution Evaluation.
